A version of the FFQ used in the EPIC-Norfolk study is available to be downloaded. It may be printed and used to assess food intake. However it is the user’s responsibility to decide whether it is the most appropriate tool to use in a given situation. This questionnaire was validated for the EPIC population and its use may not therefore be appropriate for a different group or a different research question. Even if used as the basis for developing an FFQ any changes to it would have to be validated for the particular study population. See the Validation section.

Please note that no information will be available regarding the foods or portions used and it is also the user’s responsibility to code and process the FFQs in order to obtain nutrient data.

FETA - a free web based FFQ entry and processing program based on this FFQ is now available on our website. Although it is free to download we do encourage you to register with us so we can let you know about software updates and provide support from our team of research nutritionists. Click here to go to our new FETA download page!
